This week the world observed International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
As we are all no doubt aware, Tony Abbott has been replaced as Prime Minister of Australia. His bravado, to the end, was admirable. His final speech was predictably lacking. And since his unceremonious usurping, the memes and satirical articles have been spectacular.
It would appear that a million unicorns have accessed the server rooms at Facebook and Twitter and worked their magic all over them, resulting in a billion glorious, rainbow-filtered profile pictures.
