Every so often, a news story pops up about a mum breastfeeding in public. You know the stories I mean; mum feeds child, people lose their minds because she refused to remove herself from public view and inflicted some skin on unsuspecting members of the community.
To celebrate, I wanted to let you all know that I’m still breastfeeding my daughter. She’ll turn 3 next month!
A friend drew my attention to a recent column in the Daily Terrorgraph Telegraph, written by a man named Stephen Acott.
I’d never heard of Mr Acott before, not being a huge aficionado of that particular publication, so it was with interest that I perused his opinions on the way some mothers choose to parent.
After having my last baby, I returned to part time work when she was 9 months old and still very much a breastfed baby, which meant I needed to express.
